Dad's native home ;)

As some of you may know, my father is from Maine. Although he no longer has the sweet accent, he can imitate it like nobody's business. I figured that I should dedicate this extremely long coming post to his "homeland" because I love him so much! <3

I'm sure some of you have realized this over the years, but have you ever thought about how cool it is that...

Maine is the only state with a one-syllable name

Chess Anyone?

The Twenty-second Day of the Second Month of 2011

My first official facts post. This is something that is rather special to me. Not because of the actual fact, but because of the love I have for the place mentioned in this fun fact.

It is believed by many Biographers that Marco Polo was born on the island on KorĨula, in today's Croatia.

...in case you were wondering, I LOVE Croatians! ;)
